Snow Removal

The goal of Miami Township’s Service Department snow control program is to provide timely service at a level which
permits safe vehicular access to any township owned street for vehicles equipped with snow tires and persons
exercising reasonable judgment.

Plowing requests from citizens are not taken because all snowplow routes are systematically cleared (first street to
last street). Service Department drivers take pride in their work and do everything they can to prevent skipped
streets. Occasionally a breakdown causes a delay in service, if you think your street was missed PLEASE let us
know at (513) 248-3728.

Emergency: Call the Police and Fire Departments at 911 in life-threatening emergencies and for fire/rescue
service. Rarely is an emergency solved by out of sequence plowing; emergency vehicles are equipped to
reach an emergency call quicker than a street can be plowed.
