The Miami Township Board of Trustees met in special session on January 4, 2001 at 7:00PM at the Miami Township Civic Building. Chairperson Edwin Humphrey called the meeting to order. Chairperson Humphrey appointed David Duckworth, Township Administrator, Acting Clerk for the purpose of recording minutes. Mr. Duckworth called the roll. Present were: Edwin H. Humphrey, Joseph W. Uecker and Mary Makley Wolff.
Mr. Uecker made a motion to go into Executive Session to consider the discipline of a public employee pursuant to Section 121.22(G)(1) of the Ohio Revised Code and to discuss pending litigation pursuant to Section 121.22(G)(3) of the Ohio Revised Code. Mrs. Wolff seconded the motion. Upon roll call, all voted "AYE".
Mr. Uecker made a motion to come out of Executive Session. Mrs. Wolff seconded the motion. Upon roll call, all voted "AYE".
Mr. Uecker made a motion to approve the successor collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 100. Mrs. Wolff seconded the motion. Upon roll call, all voted "AYE".
Mr. Uecker made a motion to schedule a special meeting on January 15, 2001 at 6:30PM to interview a police officer candidate and to consider any other township business. Mrs. Wolff seconded the motion. Upon roll call, all voted "AYE".
Mr. Uecker made a motion to reschedule the starting time of the January 16, 2001 meeting from 8:00PM to 8:45PM. Mrs. Wolff seconded the motion. Upon roll call, all voted "AYE".
With no further business to come before the Board, Chairperson Humphrey adjourned the meeting at 10:15PM.
