Miami Township Police Officer John Pryor honored

Completes duty with Clermont County Narcotics Task Force

Miami Township Police Officer John Pryor was honored with a Meritorious Service Commendation for his work with the Clermont County Narcotics Task Force.

During this five-year period he was assigned as a Special Agent to the Clermont County Narcotics Task Force, he participated in hundreds of investigations, brought many felons to justice and improved the quality of life and the safety of all citizens in Miami Township and throughout Clermont County.

“We cannot tell you much about what he has been doing for the past five years, because that's the nature of the work that is involve din the Drug Task Force,” said Police Chief Steve Bailey. “What I can tell you is that it was important, and that it contributed to the well-being and safety of everyone in this room, and far beyond this room. I can also tell you that it will be remembered by Officer Pryor as one of the hallmarks of his law enforcement career. And, I can tell you he is greatly missed by the other members of that unit.”
